ColourLibrary is a collection of brand colour palettes, based on and inspired by the BrandColors project. It was created as a webtoy for developers to search for brand colours, either to include in projects, or as an inspiration tool for brand designers.
ColourLibrary was created by Nathan Hawkes, The WP Bard, and builds on top of the work of DesignBombs. ColourLibrary is not affiliated with the original BrandColors project, but this would not exist without their hard work, and so I am so grateful for their creation.
ColourLibrary differs from BrandColors in two main ways. First, it offers a JSON feed for all of the colours listed, as well as CSS, SASS, and LESS as supported by the original (the orignal does support ASE files, though). Secondly, it also supports RGB, CMYK, and HSL colour formats for each swatch, which are included in the JSON file.
There are currently brands and colours recorded here, with more being added regularly.
This project is currently not ad-supported, so if you would like to support the project or my work, please consider buying me a coffee.
